We want to appeal to all local, national, international governmental or non-governmental bodies and individuals to help the children in any small or big way as they can.
SCH wish to increase its capacity to accommodate more homeless and needy children but resources are limited. We want to improve the quality of food, clothing and provide as much facility to our family of babies here, if you could help us in any way it would make a remarkable difference in the lives of these little stars.

Sponsorship program:

Education:
If you would be interested in sponsoring education it will be $313 (NRs 21900/-) /annually/per child. It would help us admit them in a better school. This will include educational fee, books, school dress and expenses related to school activities and transportation. If you decided to sponsor a child you will be provided with his progress review and pictures every three months and you can visit them anytime and communicate with them through letters. It will also be helpful if you can help us with educational materials or volunteer as teachers.
Food:
We want to increase the intake of eggs, fruits, juices, meat and milk. Nutritious diets are so essential at this age but funds do not allow us to make this regular, sometimes they even get tired of the same diet. If you or your friends could be interested to sponsor for food or at least one item of their diet eg: milk/meat/rice/fruits (it could be anything) the children would be so happy for their tasty meals. For milk/ meat or fruits could cost $250 (NRs 17520/-) /annually/15 children. Rice would cost $313 (NRs 21900/-) per year.
Baby Formula/Food:
We have number of small babies in SCH and baby milk and food is very expensive here. The bulk of the expenses are these. Expenses is $500 (NRs 35000) per Month.
Clothing:
School will open soon and we need school dresses for our children. Children need night suits, socks shoes everything wearable is accepted. If you or your friends would like to sponsor for cloths for two sets of clothes plus two sets of school uniform per child per year will cost $72/- (NRs 5000/-) annually. This includes shoes, socks undergarments too.
Overall:
If you want to provide overall sponsorship to a particular child it would include education/ food / clothing and medical: $730 (NRs 51100/-)/per child/per year. If you decided to sponsor a child you will be provided with his progress review and pictures every three months and you can visit them anytime and communicate with them through letters.
House rent:
Its cost will be $215/- for Kopan orphanage and $150/- for Bhaktapur orphanage.
Medical sponsorship:
Recently we need a doctor for regular visit at orphanage. It cost will be $200/- monthly then the doctor will be visit twice a week to check children.

Water purification system:
Contaminated water is a major problem in Kathmandu. We need one urgently. It cost $750 and its life saving.

This will save on the electricity and gas bill and provide a hot water facility for the children, it would cost $750 this includes installment transportation of solar water heating system.

Bed/Cot :
The orphanage needs minimum extra 15 beds and 10 cots each cot will cost $65 and bed (twin bed) will cost $108 this includes beddings too.
